Paul swiped right on Amanda and the rest was history! After talking for a few weeks online, the two decided it was time to meet in person. On December 1st, 2018, Paul drove to Dahlonega, GA to meet Amanda while she was at school for their first date. They had planned to eat dinner at one of Amanda's favorite local restaurants and walk around Downtown Dahlonega to see the Christmas lights, but the two had hit it off so well that they weren't ready to say goodbye. They went back to Amanda's residence hall where she got to introduce Paul to one of her favorite movies: Jurassic Park. Neither of them knew it, but this date was the beginning of an amazing journey.

Over the next couple of years, Paul and Amanda worked hard to see each other every weekend while they finished school. In the midst of the pandemic, Paul graduated from Georgia Tech and moved down to Brunswick, GA to begin his career. Since Amanda was still attending the University of Georgia, this was the start of their long-distance relationship. After about a year and a half of hardly seeing each other, Amanda graduated and moved in with Paul.

On their four-year anniversary, Paul and Amanda had an amazing dinner overlooking the marsh on Jekyll Island. After dinner, they walked around the historic district, explored the historic cottages, and looked at the gorgeous Christmas lights. Before leaving the last cottage, Paul proposed to Amanda... and she said yes!

The happy couple cannot wait to celebrate with their friends and family!
