It all started with a swipe! In January 2020, Christopher and Amanda matched on Hinge, and after some promising messages, Chris asked Amanda out for drinks at Mad Hatter—a local Hoboken dive. It was a Tuesday night, and what was supposed to be a casual drink turned into four hours of nonstop conversation. Somewhere in the middle of it all, a local town drunk decided to join their table, bonding with Chris over their mutual love of the Red Hot Chili Peppers (an unexpected third wheel, to say the least).   When they finally left the bar, neither of them wanted the night to end, so they took a long walk along the Hoboken waterfront. As the night wrapped up, Chris walked Amanda home—only to realize they lived less than a block apart! Three days later, they had their first official dinner date, and the rest is history.   Over the past five years, they've traveled the world together, built a life they love, and somehow managed to keep up with each other’s quirks. Then, on November 8, 2024, Chris got down on one knee at their favorite spot on the Hoboken waterfront. Just when Amanda thought the moment couldn’t be more perfect, their families and her two best friends appeared to celebrate.   Now, they can’t wait to say “I do” and start the next chapter of their adventure together!
