Our Wedding

How did you meet, and what was your first impression of each other? A-When I first saw his face, I couldn’t help but think he looked like my celebrity crush. Needless to say, I swiped right—and the rest is history! T-We met on Tinder. I was intimidated but fell in love with her heart.&nbsp; Who said “I love you” first, and how did it happen? A-It was a school night during the NBA Finals in the midst of the Covid era. We were watching Game 6 together when he asked if I wanted to head to bed since I had an early morning. Without missing a beat, I reminded him it wasn’t just any night—it was Game 6 of the finals. The look he gave me in that moment said it all, but he was the first to say the words. It was the perfect mix of humor, sports, and love—a moment that felt uniquely us. T- I told her and it’s because she knew about sports.&nbsp; How did the proposal happen? A-It was New Year’s Eve, and I had fallen asleep early—by 10 PM. Tim woke me up, insisting we watch the ball drop together. As the countdown began, he urged me to stand with him. At 10 seconds, we hugged, and I couldn’t help but slyly check his pockets—but found nothing. The countdown continued: 9… 8… 7… 6… 5, with Ryan Seacrest’s voice filling the room. Then, at 4… 3… 2… Tim was suddenly on one knee. As the clock struck midnight, I said “Yes!” amidst the cheers of “Happy New Year!” It was the perfect start to the year—and our forever. T-I knew she was expecting me to propose, so I took the ring out of the box, woke her up from bed, and told her how I felt and what I wanted. On one knee, while dealing with long COVID.
