Aaron and I first met through mutual friends in the fall of 2017. Aaron’s best friend Colin was dating my roommate and friend Sarah, so Aaron persuaded Colin to get the four of us out on a double date. I was reluctant at first, but Aaron was insistent he had to go on at least one date with me. When spring rolled around, Colin had extra tickets to a Flyers game and decided it was double date time. I almost didn’t go, but decided to give Aaron a shot. After the game, we started spending a lot more time together, and began dating later that spring.

Fast forward a few years, we found out we were pregnant. We were so excited to grow our little family! Jamison was born in July of 2021 and has been keeping us on our toes ever since. Aaron and I had always talked about getting married, but after Jamison was born, I thought it would be a long time before he proposed.

But, in March, in my grandparents back yard surrounded by family, Aaron asked me to marry him (with the help of Jamison, of course). I’m not one to be surprised, but I was completely shocked. It’s been a long time coming and we cannot wait to celebrate with you all soon!
