Amanda and Devin both attended Los Alamitos High School and were part of the Class of 2014. However, because of their different social circles they never officially met. Two years later, on August 30th, 2016 they came across each other on a dating app. They swiped right and began talking. Shortly after matching they planned their first date which took place at Boomer's. They played mini-golf and a wager was placed. If Amanda won, their next date would be watching The Nightmare Before Christmas, but if Devin won, they would be watching The Lord of the Rings trilogy...Devin ended up winning. After 4 years of dating, they moved in together. Once they started living together Devin started planning the proposal. Devin worked with Amanda's friends and ended up proposing January of 2021 in front of the fountain on Buena Vista Street in Disney's California Adventure. The proposal could not have been more perfect and now they plan on getting married in December of 2022.
