In the summer of 2021, Amanda agreed to meet Ethan for tacos and margaritas at a small spot in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Ethan, recognizing the enormity of the opportunity that securing a date with Amanda presented, arrived 15 minutes early. Arriving on time and not a second earlier, Amanda strolled into the restaurant wearing a simple black dress and an impressive David Yurman stack (which, to Ethan's credit, he noticed). Damn - this girl had style, and Ethan was immediately hooked.

But let's rewind. It's August 2019, and Villanova School of Law is having its new student orientation. Amanda glanced around the crowded room and asked herself, "could my future husband be in this room?" In fact, her future husband was 1,205.5 miles away, sitting in his own law school orientation in Miami. Amanda had the right thought, just the wrong time. Ethan would interject himself along Amanda's path soon.

At Villanova, Amanda found her perfect match - the law library. Her first year of law school was, quite literally, one for the books. When Ethan arrived at Villanova as a transfer student, Amanda and he walked the same halls, but they simply did not meet. If only he went to the library.

Fortunately for Ethan, he became friends with a close friend of Amanda's. One day, at a dinner amongst her own friends, Amanda was asked by Maddie if she knew Ethan, "you know, the new transfer kid from Miami." Amanda thought it would be nice to meet him, and thought maybe their paths would cross in the fall.

Without Amanda's knowledge, Maddie had also asked Ethan if he knew Amanda, "you know, the beautiful girl who's at the top of our class?" Ethan did not, but unlike Amanda, he had no intention of waiting until fall. He took matters into his own hands and promptly asked her to dinner. Two weeks later, she agreed to meet him for tacos and margaritas at a small spot near school.

If you ask Ethan: He has been married to Amanda since that first date. In fact, if you have conversed with him in a professional setting, you may have heard references to "my wife and I." He has made every decision since 2021 with the idea of building a family and life with Amanda. This wedding is just the capstone to Act I of a famous love story.

If you ask Amanda: She knew within the first five minutes of sitting down for tacos that she was on a first date with her future husband. The deal was sealed when Ethan made every effort to win over Parker, Amanda's chihuahua (which Ethan now claims is also his chihuahua).
