Although Kyle and Amanda grew up 10 minutes apart, their paths did not cross until New Years Eve 2018 in downtown St. Louis. Since Amanda was finishing up nursing school, and Kyle had recently move back to St.Louis, they both settled with noticing each other from afar. It wasn't until a few months later, celebrating a friends birthday in April 2019, that they both had the courage to introduce themselves to each other. This time, the night ended with a tequila shot and promise of a first date.

Early in Kyle and Amanda's relationship, Amanda had a job opportunity in Denver CO. For six months they continued their relationship across state boarders, which led Kyle with a tough decision to make. In May 2020, Kyle made the move to Colorado to continue their relationship but this time in the same state. Since in CO, Kyle and Amanda have made many new friends, tried new hobbies and have made memories of a lifetime. In April of 2022 a trip was planned to Lake Tahoe to celebrate their three year anniversary. To Amanda's surprise, Kyle had something else in mind to celebrate and proposed! While the couple still lives in Denver CO they plan to celebrate their marriage back home in St. Louis, MO.
