Amanda: When I first met Thomas he seemed like he knew all the right words to say and had never heard a no. To his surprise, after he asked me out on a date I said No not 1 time, but 4 times! I knew exactly the kind of man I was looking for and I knew the right man would show me through his actions that he was the one. On the 5th time he asked me out, I finally said yes. We met in downtown Richmond, VA for our first date and when I saw him across the street standing there in the cold with the biggest grin on his face, I knew he felt like he won the lottery and that this night would be the beginning of something so very special.


Thomas: Can you believe she denied me? ME? Does she know who I am? Of course all of my friends rallied with me in shock and agreed, She doesnt know what shes missing out on. I was determined to show her that I was serious about my intentions, no matter how many times I had to ask her out again. After our first date spot ended, we both didnt want it to be over, so we stayed up until 1 am talking, laughing and falling in love even if we didnt know it yet. From that first date, I felt like I had been struck by lightning. I knew that God had sent me my person. It’s why I’m smiling in every photo we take - God has been so good to us. He brought us together; to build a life and future together.
