Our story begins with both of up swiping right on a dating app. I met David on Hinge on June 17th, 2021. We started to message each other right away. It was the day before I was leaving for Las Vegas on a girls trip so we agreed to meet when I got home. We texted each other the whole time I was away. When I got home on June 26th, 2021 I got home from the airport, dropped off my suit case at home and left to go to Delaware to meet David. We went out to dinner at TGI Fridays for our first date. He stared at me the whole time and I couldn't stop smiling. From the beginning we both felt so comfortable with each other. After dinner we went back to his apartment and talked for hours. As I drove home from that date I knew something about him was different.

A little over a year later David and I decided to go on a weekend trip to Orlando Florida. David was super excited to go but not for the same reasons as I was. I was responsible for getting the tickets to the parks. Being the major procrastinator I am, I waited too long to get tickets to Magic kingdom. When I told David he looked crushed. I felt so bad. I was looking at other parks they had and noticed Hollywood studios had toy story and star wars there. I knew how much he liked star wars and we have watch all of the toy story movies together a bunch of times so we decided to go there. When we went to the park that day I put my Phillies shirt on (they were in the world series so of course I had to support), little did I know while we were getting a picture with the tall woody at the entrance of Toy Story Land, he was going to ask me to marry him. Once our picture was done being taken, I went to walk away. He grabbed my arm and got done on one knee. Of course I immediately started crying. All I heard was "Amanda I love you" and I put out my had so he didn't technically ask and I didn't technically say yes. I couldn't be more happy that David is the man I am going to spend the rest of my life with!
