Our love story began where every good love story begins...in a bar. We shared mutual friends and ended up at the same birthday party. Our friends decided to set us up and the rest was history!

The first of many weddings we have attended together. Most of the time Mitchell is in blue jeans and Amanda is in leggings but occasionally we clean up nice.

Mitchell's first Capitals game! Amanda loves watching hockey and we enjoy going to games together.

Anyone who has lived in the DMV knows that the traffic on 95 and 270 is the worst! It did not take long for us to get tired of commuting to see each other. We decided to move in together even though we had only been officially dating for 7 months. Some people thought we were crazy, but we knew it was going to work.

Another wedding! We both love spending time with our friends and luckily we both fit in seamlessly with each others friend groups.

Mitchell loves being outside. Amanda... loves Mitchell. Since being together Amanda has found herself outside more whether it is hiking, biking, fishing, or just going for a long walk around the neighborhood.

We have attended 10 weddings together in the past 3 years. We have had so much fun celebrating our best friends and all their love and can't wait to finally celebrate our own!

After many conversations and Maryland vs. Virginia debates we closed on our first home in Sterling, Virginia. We knew as soon as we toured the house it was the perfect first home for us to start our future together.

Mitchell has always wanted to drive through Skyline Drive so for his 28th birthday we made the drive and went hiking in Shenandoah National Park. It is one of our favorite trips we have taken together.

Mitchell proposed to Amanda in her favorite place Garden City, South Carolina. Amanda's family has been vacationing there since she was a baby and Amanda was so excited to finally share her favorite place with her favorite person.
