We are flying to LAX to acclimate to the time change and check off another National Park. We plan to visit Joshua Tree National Park and explore LA for a couple of days. We are then hopping on a flight to Hawaii! We plan to visit Honolulu for a day and then island hop to Maui for the rest of our Honeymoon.

Midlothian, VA is home for us now. We chose Brandermill Country Club for our love of golf. It brought us so much peace and joy each time we visited. Amanda had always dreamed of getting married on a golf course by the water and as many of you know JD had no objections.

It was Thursday, September 12th and seemingly a date night just like we have every week. We drove to Wong's Tacos in Short Pump where we had our first date. After a delicious meal the next stop was Hardywood Brewery West Creek where we had our second date. We sat in the same area where we shared a drink over 2.5 years ago. With the sun setting we proceeded to the Midlothian Mines Park where we had our 4th date and the night we had our first kiss. Upon walking on the moonlit path we encountered what I (JD) thought was a stick, turns out it was a venomous baby copperhead snake. Luckily the snake passed harmlessly and we continued a walk that would change our lives forever. Near the end of the walk I left the path and convinced Amanda to join me down by the creek with the light and investigate a rock I saw. Little did she know that once she got close, I got down on one knee and asked "Will you marry me?" Amanda said "Yes!" and the trees lit up with pre-placed lights while we shared our first kiss as an engaged couple.

Yes, we are only allowing invited guests to attend our wedding and related events.

Please arrive by 5:30 PM for the ceremony. Seating will promptly STOP at 5:55 PM.

We will have a bar available with our 2 favorite beers (lager and IPA), 1 white wine and 1 red wine, mixed drinks include an old fashioned (Groom's choice) and traditional margarita (Bride's choice). We will be putting a drinking limit in place for individuals. Meaning you will be allowed a certain amount of drinks that evening and then it will switch to a cash bar for those individuals who surpass their thresholds. We ask that everyone please drink responsibly and have a designated driver who has not been drinking drive them home safely.

We have chosen pimento cheese and ham biscuits, meatballs, a cheese tower, and bruschetta.

Our dinner will be buffet style. Herb roasted chicken legs, braised short ribs, vegetable medley, mashed potatoes, garden salad bar, and warm rolls with butter

Coffee, Tea, Soda, and Water will be available

Yes, for children between the ages of 5-12 years old a modified children's menu will be made available. WE NEED YOU to contact us if this is what you prefer.

We are ONLY allowing the immediate bridal party to bring their children.
