What date should I RSVP by?

Only those who RSVP are able to attend this special day due to venue restrictions. Please RSVP by August 18, 2025! We cannot wait to celebrate with you!

Can I RSVP online or do I need to mail in an RSVP card?

RSVP online, by mail, or text Amanda at (440) 554-4667.

What is the address for the ceremony and reception venue?

3249 Alabama Ave NW, North Lawrence, OH 44666 (ceremony and reception are at the same venue)

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible. The parking lot is gravel and the ceremony space is down a somewhat steep hill, so there is a golf cart available for guests who have difficulty getting to and from these areas.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

The easiest option for travel would be by car. Carpooling is highly recommended, as the parking lot is only able to accommodate 100 cars. If you plan on drinking, Uber and Lyft are also great travel options. Cars are allowed to stay in the parking lot overnight in the event of needing to take an Uber of Lyft. Cars left overnight must be picked up by 11:00am the next morning (Sunday).

Is there parking available?

Yes, parking is available in a gravel lot right before entering the venue. Carpooling is highly recommended, as the parking lot is only able to accommodate 100 cars.

Will the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be held outdoors, unless there is bad weather in the forecast. In the event of bad weather, the ceremony will be held inside in the barn. The reception will be held in the barn; however, there will be activities and a bonfire that will be available outside in the event of good weather.

Is the reception area temperature controlled?

The reception building (the barn) is temperature controlled with air conditioning during warmer days and heating during colder days. There is also a fire pit outside in which guests are able to enjoy for warmth when outside.

Are hotel blocks set up at nearby hotels?

Hotel blocks are not set up. If you need to book a hotel room for the weekend, I would recommend doing so ASAP due to the wedding falling on Sweetest Day.

Will there be a shuttle available to and from the hotel(s)?

No; you are responsible for your own transportation needs to and from the hotel and/or venue.

Will there be a shuttle to and from the parking lot?

There will be a golf cart available to shuttle guests to and from the parking lot who are unable to walk into the venue on their own.

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal. Nice jeans are allowed to be worn. Any and all colors are welcome to be worn, except white.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Invitations will be addressed to a guest and their significant other or partner. Some invitations will specify a plus one. Due to the limited number of guests we are able to accommodate, not everyone will be able to bring a plus one. If your invitation does not specify a plus one, you are welcome to contact us to verify that we can accommodate an additional person.

Am I allowed to bring my child/children?

We respectfully ask all guests to leave their children at home.

What type of food will be served at the reception?

Appetizers and beverages will be provided during cocktail hour, which will be followed by a buffet style dinner. The buffet will consist of a salad, 2 entrees, 3 side dishes, crusty bread, cinnamon rolls, and an assortment of mini desserts.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

We will try to accommodate as many dietary restrictions and allergies as possible. There will be meal options that are vegetarian and/or gluten free. Signs will be provided stating what food options are vegetarian and gluten free. People who require accommodations may not be able to eat a full meal (appetizers, salad, entrees, side dishes, and bread/cinnamon rolls), however, since it buffet style, the guests that have restrictions are more than welcome to eat as much of the items that they are able to eat.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, there will be an open bar. Tip jars will be provided, so please bring cash if you are going to tip the bartenders. Bartenders have the right to ID anyone they feel is too young to be drinking, so please have a form of ID available. Guests under the age of 21 will not be served alcohol, and parents/family members will not be allowed to share alcohol with the guests who are under the age of 21 (per venue rules). Bartenders also have the right to cut anyone off and/or ask a guest to the leave the premises if deemed too intoxicated.

Is there a link for the wedding registry?

A link for our Amazon Registry is found on the wedding website.

Can we bring a gift or card?

Gifts and cards are greatly appreciated; however, not required. If bringing a card, a card box will be provided at the venue. If bringing a gift, gifts will be kept behind the bar.

What time should I be at the ceremony?

Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony for time to find a seat and mingle. The ceremony will promptly start at 4:00 pm.

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Ceremony: 4:00pm, Cocktail hour: 4:30pm, Dinner: 5:30pm with reception to follow

What time does the reception end?

The reception will end promptly at 11:00pm. The bar will close 30 minutes prior at 10:30pm. Bottles of water will be available after 10:30pm, guests will not be allowed or able to get any drinks from the bar after 10:30pm.

Is there a time gap between the ceremony and the reception?

Yes, there will a one hour gap between the ceremony and the dinner/reception for cocktail hour, in which guests will be enjoying beverages and appetizers while the bridal party and family pictures will be taken.

Is there a smoking area?

Yes, we ask guests who smoke (vaping included) to do so by the fire pit out front. Smoking and vaping will not be permitted inside the barn or anywhere else on the premises, besides the designated smoking area. Anyone found to be smoking or vaping not in the designated smoking area will be asked to leave the premises. The smoking of cannabis will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the premises.

Are there any expectations while at the venue?

Guests who are intoxicated or participating in rowdy behavior will be asked to leave the premises. Guests participating in any form of recreational drugs will be asked to leave the premises. Guests are expected to be on their best behavior while on the premises.

Are there any activities during the reception other than dancing?

Yes, outdoor activities will be provided. Outdoor activities include a s’mores bar at the fire pit, Giant Jenga, corn hole, and table checkers.

Are photos allowed to be taken?

We respectfully ask that cellphones and any form of camera be put away during the ceremony. Guests are happily encouraged to take pictures during the reception. There will be a QR code to share photographs taken by guests of the couples special day.

Will there be a wedding hashtag?

No, there will not be a hashtag for our wedding.

Will the wedding be live-streamed?

No, the wedding will not be live-streamed.

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Wedding updates will be posted through an online Facebook event page that guests will be invited to join once invitations have been sent out.

Am I allowed to carry?

We respectfully ask that anyone who carries a weapon, including, but not limited to, guns and knives, keep these weapons in their vehicle or leave them at home. If you feel the need to keep a weapon on you and are found to be carrying a weapon, you will be asked to leave the premises. Security is being provided at the venue, so the need to carry a weapon is not necessary.
