Amanda and Cam met during their freshman year of college at UMass Amherst. They first were introduced to each other at Worcester Dining Hall pre-renovations (if you know, you know) by their mutual friend Stephen. Amanda did not think much of Cam and vice versa and they went their separate ways for months.

Come the second semester of their freshman year, Amanda was sitting in her first day of calculus in a big lecture hall when she noticed that Cam was also in the class. She debated back and forth all class if she should say hello to him or not. For some odd reason, she decided to say hi to him on his way out of class and he told her he would sit with her next class! Amanda insisted that they sit in the front because she's blind as a bat, and Cam, who usually went for the back rows, agreed with this. They sat together for the rest of the semester. Amanda was really good at calculus and helped Cam and from then on he always told her that she was the only reason he passed the class.

Fast forward to junior year of college, Amanda and Cam were hanging out all the time, they had become best friends. They did group halloween costumes together, hung out almost daily and loved to hit up late night at the dining halls or go to Chicken and Co. for wraps for dinner. This was the year they both began to feel a spark. They found themselves hanging out more and more one on one, but it was not until Cam's 21st birthday that the sparks turned into fireworks. Nothing happened that night but Amanda could feel it when Cameron locked eyes with her that he definitely had feelings for her, and the feeling was mutual.

From then on the conversations began, what if they could be a couple? Should they tell their friends at school? How will this change things? Ultimately, they started to pursue a relationship secretly for about 3 months to make sure it was real. Sure enough, it was.

Fast forward 6 years later to the day, we will all gather to celebrate the forever union of Amanda and Cameron. Best friends, lovers, soulmates. Who would have ever thought this all would have come to be from sitting together in calculus?
