Q + A

What is the Dress Code?

Our wedding will be formal attire! It's slightly more elevated than cocktail attire and a touch less dressy than a black-tie nuptial, Men can wear a tuxedo, but they don't have to—a dark suit and tie are also appropriate. Dress shoes fit the bill when it comes to footwear. Men feel free to wear suits, dress pants, dress shirts, sport coats, ties optional! Formal wedding guest dresses include both evening gowns and elegant cocktail dresses, so pick the hemline you feel best in. That being said, you don't have to wear a dress at all. A jumpsuit is the perfect alternative to a dress.

What time should I arrive for the Ceremony?

The Wedding Ceremony will start promptly at 1:30pm. Please plan to be there 15-30 minutes early as we are on a scheudle with the church. The church is hosting community mass at 3:30 so our time is limited and the ceremony cannot be delayed.

Where do I Park?

The parking lot at the church is slightly limited as we will have a large number of guests in attendance. There is a parking lot next to/behind the church. If this lot is filled, please try the St. Mary's Middle School down the road located at 700 S Third Street. There is also a parking garage located on High Street, and many street parking spots available. If you are unable to walk from other parking lots, please feel free to be dropped off outside the church, and an usher will be available to help you into the church and find your seat!

Can I bring my Kids?

We love all of your little ones with all of our hearts, however, we are only able to accomodate the children of our immediate families.

Can I Take Pictures Throughout the Ceremony/Reception

In order to ensure we are all fully present, we will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We request that you turn off/silence all phones during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer and videographer to capture this special moment and we would be happy to send you any pictures they take upon request. During cocktail hour and the reception, please feel free to take as many pictures as you would like!

Does the Ceremony Include a Full Catholic Mass?

Our wedding will not be a full length traditional Catholic Mass.
