The ceremony and reception will both be held at Chevy Chase Country Club (the Devonshire Room). The address is 1000 N Milwaukee Ave, Wheeling, IL 60090. Upon arrival at Chevy Chase, there will be digital signage with our names on a television screen above the doors indicating the entrance to the Devonshire Room.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 pm. Cocktail hour and the reception will directly follow.

We recommend arriving at 5:00 pm (30 minutes before the start of the ceremony) to be seated so we can get the party started on schedule.

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors, just outside of the Devonshire Room at 1st Tee. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held indoors in the Devonshire Room. The reception will also be in the Devonshire Room.

We kindly ask that you leave the photography to the professionals during the ceremony and enjoy the moment with us completely unplugged. Feel free to capture moments during cocktail hour and the reception! Any photos and videos taken after the ceremony that you would like to share with the bride and groom are welcomed via text or email at goeckecottonwedding@gmail.com.

Get ready to party! The reception will end around 12:00 am midnight.

The dress code is cocktail attire. We kindly request that men wear a suit or a tailored blazer paired with dress pants, a dress shirt, and an optional tie. A dress shirt paired with dress pants and an optional tie is also welcome. Women are invited to wear a cocktail dress, midi or ankle-length gown, a formal jumpsuit, or dressy separates. To help maintain the dressier atmosphere of the event, please avoid wearing jeans, shorts, or t-shirts. Finally, please do not wear white. We look forward to celebrating with you in style!

Yes! All ballrooms, patio areas, and washrooms at Chevy Chase Country Club are wheelchair accessible.

The catering staff can accommodate most dietary allergies and restrictions (gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy, and nut allergies). You will be able to indicate such allergies or restrictions when submitting your formal RSVP.

Hell yeah! The couple will be hosting premium liquors, beer, wine, and after-dinner cordials for all guests 21 and over. No outside alcohol may be brought onto the premises.

Guests are invited to stay at The Westin Chicago North Shore (conveniently located just down the street from the venue), where the couple is staying for both Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25. If your formal invitation indicates you have a plus one, yes! In order to keep our guest count on track and fit everyone comfortably inside the venue, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your formal invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

We love your kids, but this will be an adults-only event. Those invited to attend will be listed on your invitation. We are unable to accommodate additional guests. We appreciate your understanding!

Sorry, there is no smoking allowed (including electronic cigarettes). State law prohibits smoking in the building. Smoking is not allowed within 15 feet of the building. Smoking must only be done in designated smoking areas. A warning will be given to anyone who does not follow the rules. Please do not continue if given a warning — we do not want to pay a fine!

Yes, there are coat rooms located in the foyer of event spaces.
