Amanda and Bryce met in the fall of 2021 at Liberty University. They lived on brother and sister halls when they met at the beginning of the semester party thrown by their dorms. Amanda and Bryce had separate friend groups, but did have some mutual friends, so they would see each other in passing for two years.

Amanda and Bryce re-met in the beginning of August in 2023 at a taco night thrown by the maid of honor, Sophia. Bryce was invited right after finishing his summer at camp, and Amanda enjoyed listening to his stories. Bryce began to like Amanda after this night, but it took a few weeks for Amanda to pick up on it.

A new friend group formed and Amanda and Bryce hung out multiple times a week. They enjoyed many bonfire nights, game nights, and going to school events together.

After a few weeks of hanging out and starting to text everyday, Sophia pointed out that Bryce might like Amanda before they went to Fall Fest and over to Bryce’s house for pumpkin carving.

Bryce slyly asked Amanda to go for a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and their first date began on Thursday October 19th. They drove all the way to the Roanoke Star with not a single moment of silence the whole time, either yapping or singing along to Noah Kahan. Their 6 hour date consisted of a confession of feelings, apple tastings at the star, and a late night run to Buffalo Wild Wings.

With continued hang outs with friends and dates, Amanda and Bryce officially started dating not too long after on October 27th.

Bryce brought Amanda home to his family in Stafford, Virginia the next day, and it felt natural from the beginning. While Bryce was finishing up his last semester at Liberty University before moving to Watermarks Camp in Scottsville, Amanda and Bryce tried to soak up any holiday fun.

Amanda and Bryce have been long distance since December of 2023 and have made it a priority to spend as much time together as possible, while balancing full time work and school.

Throughout the last year, Amanda and Bryce got to sit next to each other at graduation, take a road-trip to Florida, go on many different date nights, go to church on Sundays, and even go on a cruise with Bryce’s whole family.

Bryce proposed to Amanda in Vero Beach, Florida on November 22nd, 2024, with a stunning ring and a beautiful backdrop on the beach. They got to celebrate with Bryce’s family in Mexico and were later celebrated by friends in Virginia.

Amanda and Bryce cannot wait to enter this next chapter of life together!
