Our Wedding

<p>Drew and Amanda met in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and ninety seven; he was a preteen and she was in middle school. The two families became friends through homeschooling and church but the two never spent time together. Time passed and the two grew out of each other's circles. Then Drew added Amanda on social media one day and she said "hot damn" then kept scrolling. Months later she kept seeing him pop up on her social media, she sent him a message. Little did she know that the previous day he had been writing and deleting a message to her....several times. The two began talking and have not stopped since. Their first date was at her house talking and learning about each other and realizing that maybe this was going to be something great. Not a day was spent not together, cooking, talking, watching tv, BBQ's, weddings, whatever she could drag him to. On September 26th Drew surprised Amanda by proposing on the top of Pike's Peak when they were in Colorado on vacation for an elopement for a friend, she responded "of course I will!" Proving that above all else, God's timing and plan will prevail.</p>

Taylar and Amanda met in Nursing school and trauma bonded so much that they worked in the same hospital for a while and now have a small craft business together

Faith is Amanda's younger sister and the glue to the family. They hated each other for years and ended up living together and becoming great friends.

Gordie is husband to Amanda's best friend and Drew's hunting buddy. They console each other when the girls "get a great idea" and need help. More emotional support friends than anything.

Ali is Amanda's work bestie from her first hospital job (more trauma bonding), Ali was so welcoming and taught Amanda a lot in her nursing career. Ali and Amanda have gone on many trips together. Ali was present for the proposal in Colorado and is where she married the love of her life. 

Alicia Rickenberg

Alaina is the best respiratory therapist there ever was!! She and Amanda became friends through work and surviving through caring for those with Covid during the pandemic. They have gone on many adventures together and will be friends no matter the distance

Son to Drew, fishing buddy and always up for a family adventure. 

Ethan Warner

These boys had Amanda's whole heart until she met Drew. They are her baking buddies, reading buddies, and mario buddies. They keep her humble and melt her heart (also break is now that "uncle drew is the favorite"!)

Daughter to Drew. The kind, sassy, and artistic entertainment for the whole family.
