Our Wedding

We met the modern way—online. Amanda made the first move by liking Jordan’s profile, but Jordan sent the first message, so we’ll call it an even trade. It’s not how either of us imagined meeting the love of our lives, but life happens… and we’re so thankful it did. From the moment we started talking, the conversation never really stopped. Our first date was at Seasons 52, and after dinner, we stood outside talking for almost two hours—about life, dreams, and everything in between. Two years later, we’re still talking like we just met, and somehow, we love each other more with every conversation. We’re best friends. We’re each other’s person. Whether it’s jetting off to a tropical escape, dressing up for date night, or staying in for a Netflix-and-chill evening, we just love doing life together. Our favorite place to be is with each other—no matter where that is. We move as a team, keeping each other grounded, supported, and always in the loop. We spoil each other in our own unique ways, but above all, we love each other fiercely and unconditionally. This is our story—and it’s just the beginning.

Sydney is my maid of honor, and we became best friends almost as soon as we met working at the University of Maryland. In fact, we ended up becoming neighbors, so we get to share everything from impromptu movie nights with wine and charcuterie boards, to long walks with her sweet pup, Zeus. She brings so much joy and laughter into my everyday life, and I’m so lucky to be doing life with a friend like her. From planning her infamous Halloween & Christmas parties, to planning majority of our book club meetings she is the glue that always gets us to spend some time together. She’s a core member of our little crew and always works so hard to find time for us to connect — Rat Pack forever!


Sydney Steinberg

Every groom needs a right-hand man, and Jacob has been mine for as long as I can remember. He’s been by my side through everything—countless basketball games, birthday parties, and every moment in between. His family feels like my own, and our bond runs deep. If I had to describe Jacob in one word, it would be loyal. Once he considers you family, he’ll stand by you no matter what—and he doesn’t take any sh**.

Jess is my matron of honor and my oldest sister, and I’ve looked up to her all my life. She’s always been the one I turn to for guidance and advice, whether I’m facing a tough decision or just need a sounding board. Over the years, she has shown me what it means to be a truly loving mom and wife through her own example. I’m so grateful for her wisdom, strength, and constant support, and I can’t imagine this day without her by my side.

Jessica (Hollandsworth) Zimmerman

Technically my cousin but always been like a brother to me.

Growing up with my brother was like having a built-in best friend and sparring partner all in one. From our childhood antics to the countless inside jokes only we understand, he’s been there through it all. He’s always had my back (even when he was the one getting me into trouble), and I wouldn’t want to do this without him. Thank you for always  pushing me to be better just by your presence couldn’t do this without you, O. 


Otis Ashton

Lauren is my middle sister and also my matron of honor, and she’s the biggest cheerleader in my life. Her lively, lovable spirit is infectious and can always lift my mood. I admire how she manages to be such a strong, caring mom and wife while still having endless love and energy for her little sister. I know I can always count on her encouragement and honest advice, and I’m so blessed to have her by my side on my special day.

Lauren (Hollandsworth) Conner

We survived all-nighters, questionable food choices, and more than a few questionable ideas in college. Somehow, we made it out alive—and even became mostly responsible adults. I honestly wouldn’t have made it through without him. If you need stories about my past that I’d rather forget, Thomas is the guy to ask. He’s been there for some of my most embarrassing moments, but thankfully, he’s also been there for my best. Just don’t ask him for a speech—seriously let’s keep them embarrassing stories buried. Thomas is one of the funniest and smartest people I know, and I’m honored to have him stand by my side.

Christene is my oldest friend — we’ve been besties since kindergarten, and in many ways she’s more like a sister to me. Our families pretty much became one big family, and we spent so much of our childhood making memories together. From Saturday night disco parties, Outlaws basketball, sleepovers and cleaning the house for me to stay another night. No matter the distance, I know she’s always there for me. I was beyond honored to stand beside her at her wedding and watch her grow to a mama of 3. Now I’m so excited that she’s going to be a part of mine.

Christene (Phillips) Cox

Technically my cousin but always been like a brother to me.

Having my brother by my side today means the world to me. We’ve been through everything together—childhood adventures, teenage rivalries, and now, this incredible new chapter of life. Always watching my every step, my toughest competitor, and my greatest supporter. I couldn’t ask for a better brother, and I’m grateful to have him standing beside me today.  Thank you, G.

Grant Okolo

Cassidy is one-third of our legendary high school trio, and she always knows how to make me laugh and has the kindest heart. She is one of my biggest fans. From countless shared classes, to those early morning lobby chats before the first bell, and of course, the state championship. She made every day of school and life so much more memorable. I know I can always count on her even though we are miles a part. I was honored to stand by her side on her wedding day and watch her become a mama. Now I’m so grateful to have her by my side on my wedding day.

Cassidy (Jones) Smith

Christian has been one of my closest friends for as long as I can remember, so it wouldn’t feel right without him standing beside me. A phenomenal athlete and a true competitor, he pushed me to be better in every way. But what truly sets him apart is his selflessness—he always goes above and beyond for me and anyone he considers family. I wouldn’t be the man I am today without him.

Christian Dargan

Emily is the other member of our high school trio and was my constant travel buddy during our basketball days. She never fails to make me laugh with her clumsy self. From church events to late nights at DJ’s, from countless sleepovers, to prom, to winning a state championship together — we really have done it all. I was so honored to stand by her side on her wedding day, and I love watching her thrive now as an amazing mama. I’m beyond thankful that after everything, we’re still side by side celebrating life’s big moments.

Emily (Boothe) Wheeler

Mike is cool, calm, and collected. During training, he was the voice of reason when no one else could see straight—the glue that held the chaos together. No matter how tough things got, he never wavered, always leading with a steady hand and a level head. His ability to keep us focused and push through challenges made all the difference. Beyond training, Mike has remained a loyal friend and a brother I can always count on. I’m honored to have him standing beside me today, just as he’s always stood by me when it mattered most.

Marin and I shared some wild and wonderful times during college — it was definitely a time to remember. Through it all, she became one of my absolute favorite people and a true friend for life. These days we may not see each other as often as we’d like, but whenever we do it’s like no time has passed at all. I know that no matter what, we’ll always be there for each other.  Her infectious laugh will always make me smile. The memories we made were unforgettable and I'm so happy to have her standing next to me on this important day! 

Marin Warring 

To describe Jose Padron in one word—workhorse. He was the only person I knew who could beat me to work, always the first to show up and the last to leave. During training, his dedication, drive, and relentless work ethic set the standard for everyone around him. No challenge was too big, no obstacle too tough—he just put his head down and got it done. But beyond his hard work, Jose is the kind of guy who lifts others up, always pushing his brothers to be better. I’m proud to have him standing beside me today, just as I’ve always been proud to call him a friend.

Cydnie and I met at Maryland, but it all connected during a totally random booze cruise weekend in DC, and somehow we clicked instantly and formed an unshakable bond. She’s now an integral part of my life — from our monthly book club meetings to our group adventures — and she’s truly a forever Rat Pack member. She is the sweetest and kindest person and I love that I can always count on her for the most loving and thoughtful advice. She’s the kind of friend who shows up with a smile and real talk exactly when I need it.

Kevin is a friend who leads with his heart and passion. He is deeply spiritual and incredibly intentional in everything he does. During training, he was the one who kept us grounded, reminding us of our purpose and pushing us to be better—not just as officers, but as men. His unwavering faith and dedication made him a source of strength for everyone around him. Kevin is the kind of friend who always shows up, always listens, and always leads with integrity. I’m honored to have him standing beside me today, just as he’s always been there when it mattered most.

Tori came into my life during that same legendary booze cruise weekend, and now she’s a friend I know I’ll have forever. Our tradition of "Waffle Wednesdays" would not be the same without her bright energy, podcasts, and sense of humor. She’s the one I can count on to keep me grounded and always give me the honest advice I need, while keeping it real. I’m so grateful to have her in my corner — Rat Pack for life!

Aka Layt!
A true Goon! From ducking meetings in codels, to taking over the command center, we’ve truly done it all at work. We even had the chance to be on the same team—though it was short-lived, we made sure to leave our mark while we were there! Layton is the guy who always knows what’s going on, the one with a connection to everything and everyone. Whether it’s work, life, or just a good laugh, he’s always someone you can count on. I’m grateful to have him standing beside me today, just like he’s been there every step of the way.

I met Clara while working at the University of Maryland, and she was the very first person to reach out and welcome me in. She even invited me to a going-away party for someone I didn’t know—just to make sure I felt included and cared for in a totally new environment. Since then, we’ve shared so many sweet memories, from dinner and gift card dates, to navigating the rollercoaster of dating side by side. She’s one of the most thoughtful and loving friends I’ve ever had, and I’m so lucky to have her in my life.

D. Fox  has been more than just a family friend—he’s been like family. From as far back as I can remember, he’s been a constant presence in my life, always offering support, wisdom, and plenty of laughs along the way. Whether it was family gatherings, life’s big moments, or just the everyday ups and downs, he’s always been someone I could count on.

What makes D. special isn’t just his loyalty, but the way he always shows up—whether it’s to lend a helping hand, offer advice, or simply be there when it matters most. He’s been a friend, and a brother in every way that counts.

Having him stand beside me today is an honor, not just because of our history, but because I know that no matter where life takes us, he’ll always be part of my family. I’m grateful for his friendship, his support, and for the countless memories we’ve shared—and I know there are plenty more to come.

Katy and I met at a kids golf camp at UMD and instantly clicked — proof that you can make friends as adults. Since that day, our friendship has been full of spontaneous DC day trips, 3am phone calls, and endless laughter. We’ve been there for each other through every high and low, and I cherish how effortless and true our bond is. It’s amazing to have a friend I could meet later in life and still feel like I’ve known forever.

Jordan you’re  fierce, determined, and has a huge heart. I can tell that you’re passionate about your profession but also those who are close to you. Those traits are very admirable and make you the kind of person everyone is lucky to have in their corner. Your unwavering support towards myself and Amanda, loyalty, and drive inspire those around you, and I’m beyond grateful to have you standing by my side on this special day. I know that no matter what, you’ll always show up with strength, kindness, and a little bit of that fire that makes you, you. We are so happy to have you and Katy a part of our big day! 

Jordan Robinson

Saige is the girl who made me “Aunt Bubba” and has been my little shadow ever since. She’s smart, thoughtful, and always knows how to make me smile, even with a sarcastic comment. I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side. She absolutely adores Jordan—and their 1:1 basketball games are something special.

Ivory is one of the most imaginative and kind-hearted kids I know. She might talk your ear off, but every word comes from the sweetest heart. Her curiosity and creativity light up every room she walks into. Ivory will always greet Aunt Bubba with the best hugs!

If there’s a game, Joe is ready to win it. He’s competitive, full of spirit, and always ready to challenge Aunt Bubba and Jordan to something fun. His excitement and energy bring so much joy to our lives.

Emberlyn is the perfect mix of sweet and sassy. She loves to FaceTime Aunt Bubba (especially when she’s supposed to be in bed!). She’ll bring the sparkle and the sass down the aisle; we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Jay is Jordan’s little sidekick and my partner in crime. He’s full of energy, charm, and always ready for the next adventure. He’s Aunt Bubba's little bestie, and I’m so excited he’s part of our big day.

Lydia is a little boss lady with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s sweet, sassy, and keeps everyone in check! She loves her Jordan and Aunt Bubba… most days.
