It all started with Bob's Burgers—no, seriously.

On January 6th, 2021, Amanda and James opened Bumble and swiped on each other. James was wearing a Bob Belcher costume in one of his photos and Amanda couldn't resist. She loved Bob's Burgers, and hey, he was super cute. James felt the same way, not about Bob's Burgers, but he loved her smile and it gave him a feeling he hadn't felt before. So it was a done deal!

The moment they first started messaging each other, they could barely stop. They would stay up late texting each other and sneak around work to send a few messages, and after a week of talking, they had their first date on January 16. The first date was the spark that lit the match. They were so entranced with each other's company that they forgot to even order food. And that's when they both knew they may have found the one.

On May 13, 2023, James proposed to Amanda at High Point State Park, where they had one of their first dates and took their first photo together. They just so happen to pick October 13th, 2024 for their wedding date without realizing, so I guess you could say the unlucky number 13 is actually their lucky number.

The both of them had always dreamed of finding someone who could be soulmate, lover, and best friend all in one. Someone who could understand their silliness and their calm. And like two puzzle pieces in an eight billion piece puzzle, they fit together perfectly.
