In the summer of 2014, Amanda became a camp counselor for the Recreational Camp held at West School. She was devastated that she was placed at the school all the way across town, knowing her only form of transportation was her bicycle. Until her first meeting. Standing across the room she saw Dennis the Camp's Security Guard and developed a crush instantly. Little did she know, Dennis had spotted her too.

As camp started, the two began to flirt and made excuses to see one another at work. Amanda constantly asked if her campers had to go to the bathroom just so she could walk by the Camp Security Desk.

Then one day, Dennis and Amanda spent a rainy day at camp battling each other in Connect Four. Dennis claims he was letting Amanda win, but Amanda thinks she just outsmarted him. The two eventually made plans to see one another outside of work and felt an instant connection.

The rest of the summer flew by and here they are 9 years later, getting married!
