Shawn and Amanda matched on the dating app Bumble in early July 2022. That July Shawn and Amanda went on many dates together and spent most weekends together. They became "official" soon after.

After about 3 months of many amazing dates and fun times, Shawn and Amanda took a trip to Las Vegas. During this trip Shawn would find the ring that he would propose to Amanda with. (Amanda never knew that Shawn had bought the ring.)

During this year, Amanda and Shawn went on many adventures and continued to grow their relationship with each other. During this time they spent time with family in Arizona, Colorado, Las Vegas and Hawaii. During a road trip to Arizona and Utah, Shawn and Amanda found out that they were pregnant with their first child, Elijah.

Shawn and Amanda bought their first house together during this time and now live their happily with their handsome son.

Shawn and Amanda became engaged in June of 2023. Shawn had surprised Amanda with a "beach photoshoot" at Breakers Beach in Coronado. Amanda would soon find out this was a setup for Shawn to propose.

Shawn, with some help, had made a setup with handmade quilt, made by Shawn, candles, flowers, and a sign. Shawn and Amanda celebrated their engagement with their family later that evening.

Shawn and Amanda first child, Elijah, was born November of 2023. Shawn and Amanda have been enjoying and loving every second of being parents of their handsome son. The trio enjoy going on walks together, swimming, and pickleball.

Shawn and Amanda are excited to celebrate their relationship with their family and friends at their wedding March of 2025.
