Our Wedding

Amanda and Kyle’s story is fun and adventurous just like them, and has ultimately led them to where they are today. Happily settled in Ayer, Massachusetts, Amanda and Kyle weren’t always living in the same area. Kyle grew up in Wilmington, MA and Amanda in Wrentham, MA.&nbsp; Amanda and Kyle met Kyle’s freshman year at Westfield State University through&nbsp;Amanda’s older sister, Ashley. Amanda was still a junior at King Philip High School, but in 2014 when she graduated, she committed to Westfield State University to play Division III Women’s Basketball. Gradually, Kyle and Amanda’s bond grew closer as they discovered that they had many things in common. A love for the Boston Red Sox, listening to country music, and surrounding themselves with people they love. A few of their favorite memories are hanging out in 218 with friends, eating anywhere besides the WSU dining hall, and going on hikes in Western Mass. This is where they both discovered their love for nature and hiking.&nbsp; Early into dating, Kyle was hired by the Wilmington Fire Department. Kyle beginning his career as a firefighter, and Amanda still finishing her education to become a Teacher while at WSU was challenging at times, but through it all they stood by one another and supported each other the best they knew how. Learning how to devote their time and love to one another, in the end, is what made them stronger as a team. Their friendship not only blossomed, and realized they could tackle different challenges that came their way.&nbsp;&nbsp; In the Fall of 2020, Amanda and Kyle moved into their home where their relationship continues to flourish and grow through different adventures. After their engagement in the Fall of 2021, they welcomed Rocky into the family! They&nbsp;are both excited to see where this next chapter in their lives takes them.

Wedding Party

Guests can stay at the Double Tree Hotel in Andover the night of the wedding. Our room block is under "Johnson Skinner Wedding Room Block" The cut off date is 9/28/2022 for the room block deal. The link that I have attached below, has both Friday and Saturday nights reserved. Please uncheck Friday night before booking if you are only planning on staying on Saturday, 10/29 . Shuttle will leave promptly at 3:15 pm. Our Reception begins as 4:00 pm. Guests who are staying at the hotel could also drive themselves to the venue, and then take the shuttle back if preferred.

Luke and Michele are Amanda’s parents. Married, 33 years, they are great role models for Amanda and Kyle as they begin their journey in marriage. Both Luke and Michele wish their youngest daughter, Amanda, and future son-in-law, Kyle, many years of happiness!

Colleen and John are Kyle’s parents who have been married for 34 years. Both have instilled values in Kyle to be a great man and future husband to Amanda. They are looking forward to welcoming Amanda as their second daughter-in-law!
