We met on a perfect fall evening — an evening that drifted into night with champagne, live Irish folk fiddlers, and the kind of excitement that comes from knowing you’ve just met someone special. Since that moment, we haven’t looked away, and we’ve never looked back.

Before we found each other, we each wandered the world — more than 45 countries between us — often in the same places, though never at the same time. From Southeast Asia to Europe, from 40,000 feet in the air to below sea level, we were unknowingly walking in each other’s shadows. Searching, learning, living lives full of excitement and adventure.

And then, that auspicious autumn evening in Portland Oregon, time and space paused long enough for us meet.

October 10, 2026, almost two years - to the day - later, we will gather with our family and friends to celebrate not only our wedding, but our shared sense of adventure and ongoing journey of love, laughter, and exploration. This time, we will be together.
