Amanda and Ben met in August 2018. It was Amanda's first night in Antigua. She and her Mom Melanie were staying at Ocean Point Resort & Spa waiting to move into her apartment next door for medical school. Amanda and Melanie were introduced to Ben at the bar that same evening. They hit it off immediately unbeknownst they were neighbors next door and have been inseparable ever since.

Amanda and Ben grew closer as they conquered every hurdle of medical school together. Aside from sharing the compassion for wanting to help people and pursuing the same dream career, they are travel bugs, sports fanatics and huge dog lovers; especially Golden Retrievers. In 2020, they welcomed the light of their lives, Daisy.

They've been fortunate to travel and explore Antigua, The Bahamas, Curaçao, Mexico, The Netherlands and Turks and Caicos together. They are also avid Disney-goers.

On December 26th, 2023, Ben proposed to Amanda on the beach in Myrtle Beach, a place very near and dear to them and her family. They will be celebrating their marriage with their family and friends at The Palace at Somerset Park on June 15th, 2024. They are excited to start this next journey of their life married together as Ben will enter his second year of Internal Medicine residency and Amanda will begin her first in Emergency Medicine.
