Our Wedding

Once upon a time...

We met in our early twenties while attending Oregon State University — Go Beavs! It was fall term of 2011 when mutual friends introduced us between classes and at social gatherings. Our first date was that winter, just after the New Year. On a rare snowy evening in Corvallis, Cameron walked to my apartment with a box of Oreo cookies and a container of ice cream. I had cable TV (a real luxury in college!), so we made dinner and watched movies. It was simple, sweet, and perfect. That night, we talked for hours — about music, childhood memories, and favorite foods. It felt like meeting our best friend for the first time. Before long, we were walking each other to class, meeting up after my shifts at Woodstock’s Pizza, and spending time with each other’s families. After graduating in 2012 and 2013, we stayed in Corvallis. Cameron worked downtown near the waterfront, and I taught exercise classes. We joined local softball and golf leagues, explored pumpkin patches, fall festivals, breweries, lakes, and winding rivers — all while building a life together. In the winter of 2019, Cameron received a job offer in Seattle. As Bilbo Baggins says, “We’re going on an adventure.” We packed a U-Haul, moved to a little house in Lower Queen Anne, and started a new chapter. Since then, we’ve loved cheering on local sports teams, attending concerts and festivals, and spending time with our family in Wenatchee, WA. Then, on January 21st, 2025 — during a trip to Maui with friends and family — Cameron proposed at sunset overlooking the beach. We’re counting down the days until we get to say “I do” — and we’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with you!
