The Jersey Shore has so much to offer. Whether you're coming down on your own or with the whole family, there's something for everyone.
There are plenty of local bait shops if you want to go fishing, but we also recommend checking out the co-ops and fresh seafood in Point Pleasant Beach. Did we also mention the beaches? Explore miles and miles of soft, sandy beaches. April will also be a great time of year for hunting for sea glass.
All along the shore you'll also find an endless supply of quaint antique shops with unique treasures you won't find anywhere else. Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant has dozens antique shops and charming boutiques!
Thirsty? There are also tons of microbreweries sprinkled all along Ocean and Monmouth Counties. How many can you visit while your here? Our favorites are Icarus Brewing in Brick and Kane Brewing Company in Ocean Township.
Keep reading for some great activities you should also check out during your visit. We hope you have fun!

A classic Jersey Shore experience: Looking for something fun for the whole family? Rides are open in April but be sure not to miss the funhouse, boardwalk fries, arcades, mini golf, old fashioned candy shops, and our favorite local aquarium!
Nothing beats baseball in April! We're so lucky that the Jersey Shore has its very own minor league team, the Jersey Shore Blueclaws. Shore Town Baseball has added a mini golf course, boardwalk game area, and Biergarten to FirstEnergy Park over the last several seasons to help bring the ‘Shore feeling’ to the ballpark. We think we can forgive them for being a Phillies affiliate. Let's go Mets!
It's a little early but if we're lucky, local and iconic concert venue, The Stone Pony, will have a great show you can check out while you're in town!
If you're looking for a fun way to spend the day, why not take the short drive over to Six Flags Great Adventure? They have everything from the biggest coasters to magic shows, kiddie rides, and even a safari. Say hi to the giraffes for us.
