One Upon a Time ... at AIG...

Amanda and Wyeth met back in 2017 when Amanda accepted a position as an AIG Surety Underwriter. To her pleasant surprise, the handsome man in the cubicle across from her would be training her. After months of a deep friendship forming, Amanda asked for a team gathering at the new bar that opened in the business park. To her delight, everyone except Wyeth was busy - thus their regular post-work drinks ensued and love promptly followed.

Their love moved to Jersey City where Wyeth lived and Amanda regularly "visited" (is it still a "visit" if you don't leave?). Thankfully, Wyeth lived with the most amazing and tolerant men who welcomed Amanda with open arms. They became regulars of Hamilton Park and spent many days and nights at the local watering hole, Ed and Mary's.

For four years they painted the town red, built and fostered deep friendships and even adding a dog to their pack, all while nurturing their City Love.

In March of 2022 Wyeth planned a date at a restaurant across Hamilton Park and to Amanda's pure surprise and bliss, during their walk through the park they knew so well under the newly blooming cherry blossom trees, Wyeth said he wanted to walk with Amanda by his side for the rest of his life. He got on one knee and asked her to marry him and with resounding glee she agreed.

Amanda and Wyeth moved to Charlottesville, VA in June of 2022 saying goodbye to Jersey City but cherishing the memories and experiences forever.

The next chapter will be like the ones that came before, filled with love, promise and adventure.
