Cade and Amanda have probably crossed paths many times in the last 10 years. They attended and graduated from Louisiana Tech University at the same time. Amanda was a Phi Mu and her big sister, Christiana had moved to Shreveport for medical school. Christiana's boyfriend, Cameron, was doing IT work and ended up fixing a computer for Cade's cousin, Kensie. Cameron and Cade became great friends.

Through the years, Amanda had always heard about the shenanigans that Cade and Cameron had gotten into. Amanda always told Cameron and Christiana to set her up with a one of their single friends, but no one ever came to mind.

Cameron and Christiana decided to tie the knot and Cade and Amanda were both part of the wedding party. As fate would have it, Cade and Amanda walked down the aisle together at their wedding. However, both were dating other people at the time and probably only said about ten words to each other. There is a rumor that Cade told Amanda a joke and she laughed, but this cannot be confirmed.

About a year later, while on Facebook, Cade popped up in Amanda's "people you may know section" and she added him as a friend. Amanda then accidentally waved at Cade in the Messenger app (you can't undo a wave,fyi). Cade being curious responded back to the wave and that is truly where the story begins. Amanda and Cade began getting to know each other via phone and text and then decided to meet at their mutual friend's house over Memorial Day in Houston, TX.

Sparks flew instantly and from then on they have been together, building the life that they always wanted.
