For those of you who may not know, it all began in 2009 while working at the University of Phoenix. We met when I went to the training room to meet the new hire ~ Kyle Laboy! I was entrusted with the role/duty of being his mentor, and as you can see I took my job VERY seriously! Fresh out of college, he likes to say I got him when his stock was low. But in all seriousness, when we spent time together I never felt more "at home." We shared a few apartments before we bought a house together in 2012. It was around that time I said "Are you gonna marry me or what?"

So, as the romantic planner he is, he got me the most beautiful ring, and surprised me with a proposal at the Hyatt Regency at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale. In a hand crafted Italian gondola, while a singer was serenading us in Italian on the lake, you couldn't tell me we weren't on a beautiful waterway in Venice. Of course I said "YES"!

We planned our wedding and got married in New York on September 14th, 2014. Then in 2016, we welcomed our first born, Kyree Alexander. Next up, we were blessed with our baby girl Amayah Lee in 2018. Sure, we've tackled some crazy challenges along the way, but side by side, we've proven we can face anything life throws our way.

As we renew our vows for our 10 year wedding anniversary, we look forward to what God has planned for us. More adventures, more memories, more crazy, more us. Here's to us, doing what we do and the best chapter yet.
