Our story began in 2019 at the Life is Beautiful music festival in Las Vegas. Amanda was there with her college roommate/ best friend, Channing (who would later become a bridesmaid), and Chris was with Pyle, his best friend and future best man. Channing, who worked with Chris at the Clippers, introduced us, and while we shared a fun and unforgettable weekend, we didn’t see each other again until 2021.

That’s when we reconnected in Huntington Beach, and the sparks were undeniable. We quickly knew there was something special between us, and the infamous chicken tender story (ask us about it in person!) only made it clearer. But we didn’t truly start talking seriously until October, when Chris found a last-minute ticket to Outside Lands in San Francisco for Halloween weekend. By the end of the weekend, we were certain that we had something truly special.

Timing is everything, and we quickly realized that when someone is worth the wait, you’ll do anything to make it work. For over two years, we navigated long distance with countless airplane rides and road trips. Even though we were miles apart, it never felt difficult—because when something feels as right as we do, distance is just a small obstacle.

Music has also been a big part of our journey. In 2022 alone, we saw 25 artists together, making memories at concerts that will forever be part of our story. Our love for music became the soundtrack to our relationship.

In 2024, Amanda made the big move to Newport Beach on July 1st, and just six months later, in January 2025, Chris made it official once again by popping the question!

Through all the miles and time apart, we’ve learned that when you’re with the right person, nothing is impossible. We can’t wait to continue our journey together, surrounded by the love of our family and friends.
