Alex and Amanda met in 2014 at Bloomsburg University through mutual friends. After passing by each other every morning to and from class, Alex worked up the courage to ask Amanda to watch the Winter Olympic Hockey game between the US and Canada. She said yes. After a couple of weeks of hanging out they were official.

After Alex graduated college in 2017, he moved to Philadelphia to begin his doctorate in Optometry. This was the beginning of a long distance relationship for the next 3 years.

Not even COVID could stop these two. 3 days before the big lock down Alex and Amanda moved in together in their college town of Bloomsburg.

In April they adopted their discounted, quarantine street cat Butters. They knew from the start, he was a good, honest man.

On New Years Eve, seconds before the ball drop, Alex got down on one knee in their little apartment and asked Amanda to go into 2021 as his fiance.

That May, Alex graduated from Optometry school, kickstarting their biggest move yet.

Alex and Amanda (and Butters) decided to pack up their things and move to New Jersey.
