Brian and Amanda first met at Ranchman's Cookhouse and Dancehall, Calgary's Iconic western bar. While Amanda and her friend Susi were waiting in line for a drink, Brian approached Amanda and said, "You have the most beautiful eyes," then turned to Susi and said, "Yours are nice too," but then went back to Amanda about her eyes. Susi asked if this actually worked, and apparently, it did that night.

While leaving some parts out of the night, this is the night the nickname "Boots" started for Amanda. Thanks, Jared.

Since the meeting, we have travelled to many places and look forward to each adventure every year. During our trip in 2022 to Croatia, Brian proposed in Zadar (not expected), which was a nice end to our time in Croatia after this trip was postponed in 2020.

We are looking forward to all the new experiences and adventures to come our way
