Our story traces back to freshman year in 2007 at Mt. Pleasant High School. Fate seated us next to each other in Mr. Padilla's science class, and I found myself developing a crush on Jeff. Being unfamiliar with the nuances of flirting, I resorted to playful gestures like poking, punching, and generally annoying him – a misguided attempt at conveying my feelings. Little did I know, these antics would mark my initial attempt at catching his attention. Regrettably, my efforts went awry, and they resulted in Jeff raising his voice in frustration. The remainder of our high school years passed with minimal interaction between us.

In 2013, fate intervened again when we both attended a mutual friend's party. As the night progressed and a few drinks were consumed, we found ourselves reconnecting. It was at this moment that I mustered the courage to apologize for my teenage antics and the way I had harassed him during our high school days. Much to my surprise, in his intoxicated state, Jeff forgave me with a hearty "yes!" This marked the first step towards rebuilding a bond that would soon become unbreakable. Over the next few years, we blossomed into the best of friends, our connection growing stronger with each passing day.

Fast forward to 2016, and both of us took a leap of faith that forever altered the course of our lives – we ventured into a romantic relationship. It was then that we realized we had discovered our soulmate in each other, a connection that transcended friendship and blossomed into a profound love. As we stand on the brink of a new chapter, we eagerly anticipate the journey ahead, committed to spending the rest of our lives side by side. The excitement and joy that fill our hearts are immeasurable, and we eagerly await the countless moments, adventures, and memories that await us.
