In January 2022, Amanda found herself back on the dating apps looking for Prince Charming. Little did she know she would stumble upon Jake. Within a week of chatting online, Amanda and Jake finally met up on a cool Sunday night at no other place than World of Beer. 4 hours later at midnight, the restaurant was closing up and the two found themselves wanting to continue the conversation. Not even a day later, the two went on their second date where Amanda whooped Jake’s butt in bowling, and the two could not stop talking having another 4 hour date. Soon after, there was a third date, then a fourth date, and then the two were inseparable.


Late January around their 2 year anniversary, Jake and Amanda decided to go on a nice, chilly walk with their puppies, Harvard and Millie, down at the local walking trails. Little did Amanda know that Jake carried a ring in his small zipper pocket. At the very beginning of the trail, Jake decided to get down on a one knee and pop the question in his jogger pants and Ugg boots.
