What Should I Wear? Is there a Dress Code?
Please dress according to the wedding's theme of Garden Party! Think cheerful when it comes to color and don't be afraid to incorporate some florals into your look, like a printed dress or patterned tie or pocket square. Ladies are encouraged to wear cocktail, knee or mid-length dresses or jumpsuits. Men are encouraged to wear a suit and tie. We are eager to see you all flaunt your floral!
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Flag Hill Winery and Distillery in Lee, NH.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside overlooking Flag Hill's beautiful vineyards while the reception will be held in a tent. If case of in climate weather, the ceremony will also be held in a tent.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures around the property. Guests can head straight to the tents where there will be a cocktail hour including signature cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. The bride and groom will join the cocktail hour and celebrate with their guests as soon as possible.
What time should I arrive?
Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive a half an hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time. A welcome drink will be served to guests that arrive prior to the ceremony start time of 4:30PM.
Are children welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
If you choose not to use our transportation services from our hotels in Portsmouth, NH, there is a parking lot at Flag Hill free of charge to all guests.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to adhere to capacity limits at our venue. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
While we do not have a room block, there is a discounted rate for those who choose to stay a minimum of two nights at the AC Hotel Portsmouth, Residence Inn and Suites Portsmouth Downtown/Waterfront, and Hampton Imm & Suites Portsmouth Downtown. When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
The RSVP deadline is firmly set at April 1st, 2024. Please respond by using the QR code found on the right hand side of your invitation.
Will transportation be provided between the to and from the hotel, ceremony and reception
There will be a bus service provided to guests who are staying at the hotels listed above in Portsmouth, NH. The bus from the hotel will be leaving promptly at 3:30PM and the bus from Flag Hill back to Portsmouth will leave promptly at 10PM.
