Both of us were on match.com, we "matched" in 2017, however, I did not think he was very interested since he only sent me one message and after I responded, he never replied back. I really wanted to meet him though, his pictures and description looked like someone I wanted to know more about. Nonetheless, I did not want to "chase" so I left it alone.

Two years later, when I was about to delete my profile, he popped up out of nowhere. To my surprise he messaged me and seemed interested. I was so excited, we were messaging back and forth every day for a few days.

The weekend after our messaging we decided to meet up and go hiking with our dogs. After the hike we grabbed a drink, he seemed a little shy at first but I really enjoyed the time we spent together.

We went out to eat on our second date and had a lovely dinner. We went for drinks after and had this amazing moment. One of those moments where the earth stands still and all you do is stare into each other's eyes. We both felt it and it was different but exciting and lovely. Ever since then, we have not spent much time apart.

Our daughter was born on 2/19/20 and we have enjoyed watching our love for her and each other grow.
