Where is the venue?

The venue is a private mansion in residential area on the North side of the island, near the Turtle Bay Resort. Address will be given out on an individual basis as the venue requests to remain as private as possible.

Where should we park for the wedding?

There is a lot nearby rented by the event staff. Anyone driving to the venue must park there and will be shuttled to and from the parking lot, the shuttle will run frequently throughout the event. This is a residential area, so during the event, no one is permitted to park on the street, or walk on the street to and from the lot (about 2 blocks away). This is to ensure good relations with the neighbors and their private homes.

What is the dress code?

Hawaii- appropriate Cocktail attire (no jeans, please).

Where should we stay?

There are several hotels close by, listed in the Travel section of the website. The house can sleep 35-50 people. This will be offered on an individual basis to guests depending on RSVPs, starting with family first. We understand, however, that some guests may value having a private space and choose to stay elsewhere. Please keep in mind that the only private room is the master. All other rooms are shared with one other bed, and two rooms with bunks (one for the teenagers, and one for any guests who need to crash if they cannot make it to their hotel). We will assign guest rooms based on RSVPs to be sure everyone planning to stay will be comfortable. The rooms are split between the Master House and the Guest House with a total of 10 rooms and 28 beds. We are keeping our wedding guests list small, and we will all get to know each other well! Please keep in mind that hotels in Waikiki are at least an hour drive away and we do not recommend driving that far.

Will children be allowed to attend?

While we love your children, we ask that young children not attend the ceremony and reception. Although we encourage everyone to take advantage of the destination and incorporate a family vacation if you choose, we ask that you make childcare plans for the wedding evening. Older children and certain family members will be attending on an individual basis. We do have the house rented through Monday morning, so families are most welcome to come and hang out and enjoy the property on Sunday! (Pool, hot tub, and nearby beach, eat and drink the leftovers we can't take with us, etc)

What if I have dietary restrictions

We know a significant portion of our guests list is Vegetarian. There will be plenty of vegetarian (and a select few vegan) options. In true Hawaii fashion, we will have a mix of traditional foods, including pork, beef, and local produce. If you have any specific restrictions or allergies, please let us know as soon as possible so we can alert the catering staff.

When should I RSVP by?

We encourage everyone to RSVP as soon as possible after invitation are received. Given the destination, we hope to have all RSVPs no later ay March 31st, 2026. If you need to RSVP later than that, please contact us directly so we work with our vendors on flexibility.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

This will be an unplugged ceremony. We would like everyone to be present and have hired a photographer to take photos. We ask that everyone put away their phones during the ceremony. You'll have the opportunity to take photos during cocktail hour and the reception. We will ensure the professional photos are available as soon as we receive them.

Should we book refundable travel?

We HIGHLY recommend making only refundable reservations for your airfare, hotels, rental cars, etc. We have booked the venue over a year in advance and things happen!
