Things to Do

If you have time before or after the wedding and are looking for fun things to do around Columbus, here are some of our favorites:

-Lunch/Dinner and Shopping at Carfagna's at Polaris Town Center- Some of the best Italian food you will ever eat and the coolest Italian store with everything from fresh breads and meats to the most delicious sweet treats. You will not be disappointed if you go! Highly recommend making a reservation if you want to eat there because they are always busy!

-Dinner at Forbidden Root- The best spot for a fun cocktail and great meal. Highly recommend the duck and dumplings! Plus it's where we had our first date and got engaged <3

-Visit the Paris Baguette Bakery at Easton Town Center- One of our favorite places for a sweet treat. Their menu is always changing so there's always something new and delicious to try :) and it's right across from Forbidden root!

- The Book Loft in German Village- If you love perusing aisles of books then this is the place for you! They have a room for every genre of book, I believe it's around 32 rooms! You will want at least an hour or two to give you time to properly look through all the shelves. Matt and I can never get out of this store without spending more money than we should lol

-Otherworld- cool interactive art instillations and rooms. They have fun drinks you can take with you through the exhibit too.

-Take in a show at one of our beautiful theaters downtown, The Palace or the Ohio. They always have great musicals and plays going on! Some of the shows going on during December are "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "The Nutcracker"
