Our story starts as all modern romances do-- on Bumble. Our first date was at Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams in the Short North. We walked to Goodale Park and sat on a bench, talking for 3 hours!

We identified shared values (community, family, honesty), interests (literature, public service, nature), and pastimes (hiking, dining out, specific video games). Our lives fit together so easily.

We knew early on that our connection was something different than what we had found before. We planned a trip to Mexico, not expecting it to be an engagement trip. But in the months leading up to it, we realized it would be the perfect timing for an engagement.

After spending New Year's Eve in bed with COVID, we joked that it would be fun to throw the biggest New Year's Eve party to close out 2025 with a NYE wedding! We hope you'll join us to celebrate!
