Our Wedding

Clemson, SC September 2016 – The Tigers were starting their National Championship season. All was right in the world. Except, Amanda was dateless for an upcoming sorority semi formal. Luckily, one of Amanda’s roommates, Marissa, had told Amanda about a curly haired cutie that hung out with her now husband, Anthony. After Marissa and Anthony’s match making ensued, Spencer agreed to go with Amanda to the function. After that, the rest fell into place with a few adventures on the way to where we are now! July 2017: We were both living in Greenville, SC working new jobs out of college. Post grad is a whirlwind, and we were lucky to have each other, and Spencer’s family in the area, to lean on. July 2018: Amanda moved to Atlanta, GA to begin a career in the NICU. We didn’t even question staying together, we knew it would be hard, but we weren’t going to give up. Two years of living in different cities included a lot of driving, planning, and phone calls – but it paid off! June 2020: We had been planning to move to Madison, WI to be in the same place and closer to Amanda’s family…we were not letting a pandemic stop us. The land of cheese curds, brats, and the Green Bay Packers have treated us well and kept us warm through our first real winter in a long time. February 2021: Amanda was pumped for a couple’s trip to Las Vegas, NV with the matchmaking couple themselves. Little did she know, this was where Spencer was planning on popping the question! Biggest Vegas win of all time? At least in Amanda’s book. We feel so blessed to have each other, and we are looking forward to September 2022. We are also very fortunate for the many family and friends who have supported us throughout our relationship. Big thanks to all of you, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you on the dance floor!

The Chicago Marriott Naperville is where we will be staying, and there is a hotel block available.- To block a hotel room, call the hotel &amp; state you’re part of the Alberts/Martin wedding block. Bookings close September 2nd for the reduced rate- 6.6 miles from St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church (about a 15 minute drive)- 3.7 miles from Arrowhead Golf Club (about a 10 minute drive)- This hotel will have a shuttle available to and from the reception

There will be a 39 passenger mini coach to provide transportation from the Chicago Marriott Naperville to Arrowhead Golf Club beginning around 5:15pm. The mini coach will also be transporting guests from Arrowhead Golf Club to the Chicago Marriott Naperville after the reception has ended.
