Amanda and Maximilian met at Mizzou during their very first week of class. Amanda was early to class, and Max was running late.

When Max got to class, the seats in the back were all taken. He scanned the room to find one and noticed one in the very front. The one seat was right next to Amanda. Max sat down, and they became friends. They sat next to each other in every class and started getting lunch together. That turned to going to football games together and spending more time together outside of class.

By the next semester, Max and Amanda started dating. COVID hit three months later.

Amanda and Max dated until her last week at Mizzou before graduation.

Max asked her to marry him at Memorial Union, where they first met. Of course, she said yes.
