With bright eyes and a bushy tail, Brian stepped foot on Iona's campus for his first day of college. He met a lot of people that day, but there was one person that really stood out to him. It was his orientation leader, Amanda. I think he just has a thing for polo shirts and khaki shorts (just ask anyone who golfs with him).
Amanda told Brian about her love for theatre, and Brian, having been raised with two sisters, began box-stepping at that very moment. Amanda was both perplexed and intrigued. She wanted to know more. Brian's plan to win her heart was going swimmingly.
New friends Brian and Amanda attended their first of many shows together. They were just friends! I don't know why everyone keeps saying they were more than friends! They just both have a love of live theatre! Back off! Can't two friends enjoy some live theatre and take a photo in front of the stage to commemorate the event?
Desperate for an excuse to hang out with Amanda, Brian decided to join the spring musical. They both landed leading roles and even sang a song called "Friendship" together. But what if their new friendship started to blossom into mooooore than friends?!?
Brian officially asked out the pretty lady outside a library near Iona and the fun began. Okay, also shoutout to these outfits. Feel free to ask for our stylists number!
Brian and Amanda enjoyed many a show and many a SNOW as well! They went skiing (Amanda cried) and they saw Wicked (Brian cried). The couple also enjoys floating down the Delaware River and consuming some adult beverages annually.
Brian and Amanda both graduated and got a couple degrees. Amanda got her Masters and Brian blackmailed his professor into passing him because he had footage of his affair. We also became an aunt and uncle (not mother and father, unlike this picture suggests).
They took a bunch of trips! Amanda got tan and Brian was in the shade reapplying his sunscreen. Did you know SPF tops out at 100?
In the same exact spot Brian asked Amanda to be his girlfriend, Brian got down on his knee and asked her to be his wife. After much deliberation, Amanda said yes! WHEW
The happy couple will be saying "I do" in Brian's childhood church, and then partying it up in good, ole Franklin Square, Amanda's hometown. Ahhh yes, the story comes full circle. Eat your heart out, Hollywood!
