The wedding venue is called The Intervale Center. It is a non-profit that works to provide sustainable, locally grown food to communities that need it, and it supports nature conservation & has a conservation nursery. It practices sustainable climate & land stewardship. 100% of our venue fees will go toward supporting this nonprofit. The Intervale Center has an abundance of hiking trials that guests are free to use throughout the weekend. The wedding itself will take place just outside of their barn & the reception dancing will take place in the barn. Dinner will be under a tent.

Burlington Vermont has plenty of hotel and AirBnB options, some of which we have listed on the hotels page. We have also reserved room blocks in some hotels; you are free to book a room at the hotels we have blocked, or you can book a place on your own.

If you are staying in Burlington, our venue is in Burlington itself, though a bit on the outskirts. It is possible to walk from hotels to the venue (~20-40 minutes, depending on where your hotel is). However, we are looking into the feasibility/cost of arranging a bus/shuttle service that can take guests to and from downtown Burlington -- near Church Street. In general, if you would like to explore Vermont and the surrounding area, Coty and I strongly recommend getting a rental car. Vermont has so many great attractions and is best experienced via car. However, Burlington VT is a very cute, walkable city with plenty to do & lots of shops/restaurants & activities immediately available in the city. Also, you can easily rent a bike to bike along the lake or within the city itself.

Cocktail party/garden party attire is just fine! Feel free to wear a shorter dress or sundress, as well as slacks with a polo or short-sleeve button down shirt. You can also wear a longer dress or a suit if you'd like. Whatever you do, just don't wear white! (And please don't wear off-white, cream or champagne either!)

We will be serving wood-fired pizza and salad, with options for vegetarians & vegans, as well as gluten-free pizzas. We will also be serving salad to go with the pizza. For dessert we will have an ice cream truck from Ben & Jerry's.

Yes, but if possible we ask that people please carpool or Uber to the venue as parking cannot accommodate 200 cars and we are inviting 200 people to the wedding.
