Steve and Amanda met on Memorial Day weekend in 2018 at the Brattleboro Brew Fest. Amanda pretended that she was hosting the 'official after party' of the festival convincing Steve he had to join, and shockingly, he did! From that weekend on they never stopped talking. They took that summer getting to know each other with Steve taking many weekend trips to Boston and Amanda taking a few back to Vermont. By Labor Day weekend, Steve was smitten and let the L word slip at Dover Bar & Grill after a brew fest at Mount Snow. That weekend they dubbed their relationship official and have been together ever since.

They spent the first 3 years of their relationship living 3 hours apart, but made the best of it by having many weekend adventures along the way.

In 2021 they took the big leap from long distance to purchasing a home together in Newburyport, MA and spent the next 2 years renovating their fixer upper.

Steve proposed August 5th, 2023 on the deck of his family camp on Lake Champlain to the complete surprise of Amanda who was in her pajamas...

We will be celebrating this love story in the same place on September 21, 2024 when we make it official and tie the knot at 1 Starr Farm Beach Rd!

That summer was filled with weekend adventures in Boston, Vermont and even Rhode Island.

They spent the first 3 years of their relationship living 3 hours apart, but made the best of it by having many weekend adventures and trips along the way. They went to California, Colorado, Mexico and Steve even got Amanda to a Phish concert at Fenway in between.

Then, we spent the next 2 years renovating our fixer upper.

After that 2 years renovating, Steve proposed!
