Once upon a time…

D.J. DelVecchio and Amanda Overstreet met while working as Cast Members at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL as part of the Disney College Program in 2014. What started as a friendship grew into something much stronger built upon inside jokes, a love for the arts, and a knack for movie trivia.

But like any good story, the next chapter threw in a plot twist. Life led D.J. and Amanda back to their respective homes in two different states - Ohio and Texas. For the next 2 years, their love story lived across time zones, TSA lines, and FaceTimes. Celebrating what holidays they could together, traveling back and forth, and dreaming about one day waking up and hearing “Good Morning” in person rather than via a text message. Through the countless calls and calendar countdowns, our two main characters learned that love doesn’t require proximity to grow. Love just needs patience and persistence. They decided to hold on tight to their dreams, because a dream is a wish your heart makes.

One day, the wish came true…

The distance closed and our lovebirds found themselves living in the same city - Austin, TX. From seeing concerts and musicals to finding their favorite restaurants and making new friends all along the way, Austin was proving to be their best adventure yet. That is until D.J. asked a very important question…

On March 13, 2020 surrounded by sand and sunshine, D.J. asked Amanda to marry him (and quoted a Disney movie, of course). She said yes, and the next six years brought change and growth for our couple. They leaned on each other more than ever as they got new jobs, navigated a global pandemic, adopted a puppy, and bought a home together. Each chapter of the love story made their bond stronger and more steadfast than ever before.

And now they start their new chapter…

D.J. and Amanda are beyond ecstatic to celebrate their wedding day with you all in the beautiful Texas Hill Country in Dripping Springs. Their story has been defined by love, resilience, and finding magic in the everyday.

Welcome to their happily ever after and to quote Walt Disney, “I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing—that it was all started by a mouse.”
