Amanda, a city girl from South Detroit, flew to Tampa for work before a trip to Italy, but her plans changed. She met Brandon, a cute new security guard working at the beach bar, through her best friend Vanessa. After some cheeky movie talk, Amanda boldly asked Brandon to go see A New Toy Story movie together, and they clicked immediately. Over the next two weeks, they spent all their time together.

Brandon, an Indiana native and Marine Vet, had recently moved to Florida and was settling into life at Whiskey Joe’s as a security guard. Meanwhile, Amanda, a flight attendant, was in a job she wasn't happy with. After awhile of long-distance back-and-forth, Amanda decided to quit and move to back to Florida permanently.

After an afternoon of running errands and dealing with a minor health scare with Lucy, he popped the question at home in their jammies asking Amanda to be his forever with Amanda’s first reaction being, “WTF, are you messing with me?” But of course, she said yes. It was exactly what she had imagined her proposal to be.

Now, they’re ready to become Mr. and Mrs. Powell, and even Lucy might need a last name change! Through it all, they’re just two silly, fun people madly in love and ready for their next adventure together.
