We met on a dating app and had our first date at the Depot in Greenfield on 10/11/2022. Bruce didn't talk much and Amanda didn't think he would even call her for a second date. Amanda literally put her foot in her mouth when she accidentally commented on the size of Bruce’s feet out loud. Bruce was already smitten and asked for a second date later that night.

Within months, Bruce moved in and we became inseparable by going to hockey games, axe throwing, hiking, and our love of food. We enjoy spending time with our dogs (Titan, Goliath, Harley, and now Layla); taking them on hikes and walks, and generally spoiling them as much as possible. Amanda gave Bruce a love of going to hockey games and Bruce persuaded Manda to have an interest in football and video games.

We continue enjoying these things as well as traveling together whenever we can. Our first trip together was to Detroit for Bruce to experience his first Red Wings game (Go Wings!). Disney and Universal Studios in Orlando was our first big trip, with Bruce doing the planning so Amanda could enjoy her first time without worrying about anything. This has been a common theme in the relationship, leading to Amanda becoming a Passenger Princess with an in-car snack bag and everything.

Bruce secretly recruited Amanda’s brother Travis to help plan his proposal. We went to Las Vegas to visit her brother with her Mom, Dad, and Grandma in March and Bruce wanted to propose there. Travis found a great hiking location(it was a harder trek than expected) and on a boulder overlooking Las Vegas at sunrise, Bruce surprised Manda asking her to marry him on March 11, 2024.

This is how our story began. We are excited to write the rest.
