Little did we know that 7 years ago, we'd be here today planning our wedding. It all started on Match. Sounds like a modern day romance. I messaged him. He messaged me back. And the rest is online history.

The perfect proposal storm

Adam had secretly asked our friends and family to meet us in New Orleans for a Memorial Day weekend trip. Meanwhile, the weather had a different plan. A hurricane was spiraling it's way up the coastline and our fur baby, Luna, decided to swallow a bee and come down with hives all of her body the day we were supposed to leave. Needless to say, we took Luna to the vet. Luckily, with a bit of medicine, she was OK. We still weren't sure if the weather was going to cooperate, so we decided to wait it out and see. With time on our hands, Adam convinced me somehow to hike up to the 360 bridge lookout in 90 degree weather. Once we reached the top, we noticed there was no one around. THIS NEVER HAPPENS. There's always someone there. Adam wanted someone to take our picture, so he started to walk down the way we came up and met a group of college girls. With their help, he was able to propose on camera. I still have no idea what he said, but of course I said yes. While our friends and family were supposed to be there, I loved how it was just the 2 of us and group of amazing strangers who were there to witness it. We ended up driving to New Orleans that night to meet up with everyone. It was a weekend none of us will ever forget.
