We met in the fall of 2010 during our first year of law school at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, initially breaking the ice over our mutual like of Nathan Fillion. We spent many afternoons together, either in class or at “bar review”, often playing darts and fueling each other’s competitive nature. After a few months, we started dating.

Over the next 10 years, lots of things developed. Both of us graduated law school and became attorneys. We went on lots of fun trips, like to Six Flags, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Las Vegas, and Pismo. We moved in together and also adopted 3 cats and a baby bird during that time. It was a marvelous time.

We also had our trying times too, as we imagine many couples do. Around 4-5 years ago we decided to separate. This time apart was fairly brief, but it was still rather productive. It wasn’t until months later that we would come to learn that it was even more productive than we’d initially realized.

Alexander Mulnick came into our lives in December of 2016. He is the brightest joy in our lives and we love him so much. He fills our days with all of the treasures that accompany parenthood to a young child.

After years of encouragement (and expectant questioning) from family and friends, we were engaged on Thanksgiving 2020. Now we are excited to share our big day with you! We are looking forward to September with love and joy! We can’t wait to celebrate, and look forward to seeing you all there!
