For those who don’t know, Brendan and Amanda first crossed paths in high school, though not at the same school. Amanda was a sophomore at Northern Highlands, and Brendan was a junior at Bergen Catholic. They met through mutual friends at a party at the Basralian’s Pool House, marking the beginning of their relationship.

A few months later, Brendan asked Amanda out on their first date to the local Dairy Queen in Allendale. Amanda was so nervous that she could barely speak or finish her ice cream. For those who know her, this is extremely rare, as she’s usually a chatterbox and known as the unofficial town mayor. Meanwhile, Brendan, typically the quieter one, found himself rising to the challenge and talking the entire time. But the rest, as they say, is history!
